Ticket Back to My School

This is a personal trip for me. This is the place where I grew up. As a child, I have never imagined the world to be big. I was satisfied with what was available with my "small world". Ironically, this same "small world " was also responsible for opening my eyes to the adventures that I have yet to experience. Looking back, my small world has changed a lot, but then again, maybe it has not.
(This is the gate of the school where I went to grade school. When I was attending school here, there were no gates nor walls around it.)

Maybe it was only me... maybe it was me that was looking at the same things, just a different perspective...
(Here is another picture of it....)

Our High School building also has not changed much. Back in High School we used to call our selves the "Goldians". We were the section Gold. Then during breaks, we would all sit by the porch. We were ( at least for me ;) ) very close friends. All of us. The Goldians. Maybe because there were not even thirty of us in the class.

(This is where I attended High School...)

High School has taught me a lot. This was the first time I had really good friends leave without knowing if we would see each other again. Some said goodbye and some---never given a chance to do so.

(This is the another picture of the High School, it has not changed much, except for the walls.)

High school really had a lot of goodbyes:

First is Phillip. His family needs to move to a different province. I still see him.

Second is Guilmore. He ran away. I never knew the real story behind him. I guess its family problem. I heard he is now a big shot in Manila.

Third is Joseph. He transferred school. He needed to be near his parents. After High School, he went to U.P.

Fourth is Christine. Her family moved her to La Union.

Fifth is Jenny Rose. Her family moved to Manila.

Lastly, the most painful goodbye yet from the Goldians was Jan.
Jan was never given a chance to wave his final farewell to us... He was murdered the night before the graduation. That was very painful for all the Goldians.
The Goldians would never be complete again... everybody have chosen their special road to travel... and some just won't be back. Ever. But I guess it does not really matter, complete or not, what's really important is that once in our life there was us... the Goldians.

We can never tell what will happen in the future. That's life, all we need is to enjoy it and follow the path that god gave us. Nice blog.. :)
